Lucy Cotter is Sky News Arts and Entertainment Correspondent. Lucy covers the major award ceremonies and red carpet events including the Oscars, Baftas and Brits and secures interviews with the world’s most influential artists.

Lucy joined Sky News from ITV where she was the Entertainment Correspondent for London Tonight as well as a regular studio presenter for the programme.

She reported live from the red carpet for all the capital's film premieres, being given kisses from Will Smith, hugs from Hugh Jackman, and a "yes" from George Clooney when she proposed to him.

Before joining ITV, Lucy worked for Sky Arts on its first Hay-on-Sky series with Mariella Frostrup, presenting highlights from the literary festival and producing features with Rory McGrath.

Lucy has also worked for Granada TV as a reporter and presenter and as a political reporter for their North West programme. During her time there, she did an investigation into gangs in New York and visited gang members in prison and filmed in the Bronx with an ex-gang leader.

Lucy has a 2.1 in psychology, sociology and politics from Cambridge University and has a postgraduate diploma in broadcast journalism.
